LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES JUNE 4, 1996 <br />F. Request for services 1-94 corridor study <br />The City Council held a workshop on May 22, 1996 to discuss the progress of the 1-94 Corridor Study. <br />Since this study is extremely important and staff time has become limited, City Planner Terwedo <br />recommended that additional planning services be sought to assist the City in completing the study. A <br />proposal was submitted from Ann Perry, SEH, to assist the City in completing the study. The City has <br />budgeted $45,000 for consulting services for the planning department and has $41,000 in planning <br />reserves. The request made for the land use study is $16,000. The Council also directed the staff to <br />meet with Springsted to request a quote to prepare a financial study on the various land use alternatives <br />which will be prepared as part of the study. <br />M/S/P Conlin/DeLapp - to approve the contract with Ms. Ann Perry, SEH, to assist the City and staff to <br />prepare a new land use plan for the 1-94 corridor and for consulting services at a cost of $16,000. <br />(Motion passed 5-0). <br />9. FIRE DEPARTMENT: <br />A. 1995 Annual Report - Chief Sachs, Changes to Fire Department By -Laws <br />M/S/P to table this item until the next council meeting because of the late hour.
