LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES AUGUST 6, 1996 <br />Councilman Hunt reported the Finance Department's computer is not functioning and the data on the disk <br />is difficult to recover --at best a 50% chance and made a recommendation of computer purchase. <br />M/S/P Hunt/Conlin - to authorize Councilor Hunt to work with Uptime on a computer proposal not to <br />exceed $3,500 with the approval of the City Administrator. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />12. CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />A. Set dates for Budget Workshop <br />M/S/P Hunt/Johnston - to call a Budget Workshop for August 13, 1996, 6 p.m. at City hall. (Motion <br />passed 5-0). <br />B. Staff Salary Increases <br />The Council postpone discussion on staff salary increases until the next Council meeting. <br />C. Microphones for Council chambers <br />M/S/P Johnston/John - to follow the recommendation of staff for purchase of new microphones for the <br />Council chambers. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />The Council adjourned the meeting at 12:05 a.m. <br />
