12. CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: A. 1998 Payroll Administrator Kueffner asked for a workshop between the Council and staff. The Council scheduled a workshop for Wednesday, May 20"i, 5 p.m. B. Applications for City Planner The deadline for City Planner applications is May 8". The Council will receive copies of applications for the City Planner so they can review all the applications and respond back at the May 19" meeting with a list of names to interview. The Council will invite a member from the Planning and Village Commission to participate in the interview process. C. Clean Up -Day Lake Elmo Clean Up day is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 8:00 a.m. until noon at the Washington County Fairgrounds for all Lake Elmo residents. When Councilor DeLapp asked if the Council officially approved Clean -Up Day, Administrator Kueffner responded the Council did not. Captain Johnson, Washington County Sheriff s Dept., did not appear at the meeting so the Council asked that this item be added to the next Council agenda.
