They take time to thank <br />Chamber members for their involvement. <br />A great way to meet the business community. <br />Entrepreneur's Roundtable <br />This is a new program that will address some <br />of the questions from entrepreneurs who are <br />wanting to start their own companies. Meet <br />others who are going through the same issues <br />that you are. Meetings are at 12:00 noon on <br />the first Tuesday of each month. The location <br />will change each month, so call the Chamber <br />office for the next meeting location . <br />Board of Directors <br />The Stillwater Area Chamber of Commerce <br />has a Board of Directors. The Board sets <br />policy and provides direction to the Chamber. <br />The Board is comprised of 15 people, each <br />serving for 3 years. Each member can be <br />elected for a second term. There are also <br />advisory positions available. Weekly trips to <br />the Capitol while legislature is in <br />session. Works with local elected <br />officials on policies. <br />Lunch with the Chamber <br />This group m(eats) every Friday at <br />different area restaurants. A great <br />way to introduce yourself and <br />others to the Chamber. There is no <br />set agenda and it's very informal. <br />Toastmasters <br />Public speaking can be very important to your <br />career. It can also be very scary if you do not do <br />much of it. The Chamber is attempting to <br />organize a Toastmasters program. The National <br />Toastmasters Association needs 20 people to <br />start a new group. If you are interested, please <br />contact the Chamber. <br />Educational Seminars <br />Throughout the year, there are <br />educational seminars that will be <br />helpful to your business and also <br />great networking opportunities. <br />
