Stillwater Area Chamber of Commerce Be a Part of It Get involved with the Chamber through committees, associations and ongoing activities Lake Elmo Business Association Oak Park Heights Business Association Meets the First Monday of each month Meets the Third Wednesday of each month Chamber Ambassadors The Ambassadors help introduce the Chamber to new businesses. They take time to thank Chamber members for their involvement. A great way to meet the business community. Entrepreneur's Roundtable This is a new program that will address some of the questions from entrepreneurs who are wanting to start their own companies. Meet others who are going through the same issues that you are. Meetings are at 12:00 noon on the first Tuesday of each month. The location will change each month, so call the Chamber office for the next meeting location . Board of Directors The Stillwater Area Chamber of Commerce has a Board of Directors. The Board sets policy and provides direction to the Chamber. The Board is comprised of 15 people, each serving for 3 years. Each member can be elected for a second term. There are also advisory positions available. Please let the Chamber know if you are interested in serving as a Board or Advisory member. Weekly trips to the Capitol while legislature is in session. Works with local elected officials on policies. Lunch with the Chamber This group m(eats) every Friday at different area restaurants. A great way to introduce yourself and others to the Chamber. There is no set agenda and it's very informal. Toastmasters Public speaking can be very important to your career. It can also be very scary if you do not do much of it. The Chamber is attempting to organize a Toastmasters program. The National Toastmasters Association needs 20 people to start a new group. If you are interested, please contact the Chamber. Educational Seminars Throughout the year, there are educational seminars that will be helpful to your business and also great networking opportunities.
