Approve Meeting Calendar Update <br /> <br />Councilmember Bloyer, seconded by Councilmember Lundgren, moved TO APPROVE THE <br />CONSENT AGENDA AS PRESENTED. Motion passed 5 - 0. <br /> <br />ITEM 11: Demontreville Park Ballfields <br /> <br />City Planner Prchal presented a proposal for relocating and reconfiguring the ballfield in <br />Demontreville Park. Planner Prchal reviewed size limitations in the park that prevent the <br />addition of a second field as contemplated in the 2018-2022 Capital Improvement Plan. <br /> <br />Councilmember Bloyer, seconded by Councilmember Nelson, moved TO APPROVE <br />IMPROVEMENTS TO THE DEMONTREVILLE PARK BALLFIELD AS PROPOSED BY <br />STAFF AND MAHTOMEDI BASEBALL ASSOCIATION AND ALLOW STAFF TO SEEK <br />BIDS FOR THE PROJECT. Motion passed 5 – 0. <br /> <br />ITEM 12: Tennis Camp Proposal <br /> <br />City Planner Prchal presented a proposal from Alex Krol for use of tennis courts at Pebble Park <br />to conduct a 12 week summer tennis camp with a portion of the camp revenue shared with the <br />City. <br /> <br />Councilmember Bloyer, seconded by Councilmember Nelson, moved TO APPROVE THE <br />CONTRACT FOR A TENNIS CAMP AS IT HAS BEEN PROPOSED. Motion passed 5 – 0. <br /> <br />Councilmember Bloyer, seconded by Councilmember Fliflet, moved TO DIRECT STAFF TO <br />DEPOSIT FUNDS RECEIVED FROM THE TENNIS CAMP INTO THE GENERAL <br />FUND. Motion passed 5 – 0. <br /> <br />COUNCIL REPORTS <br />Mayor Pearson: Recognized Lake Elmo residents Nick Johnson for receiving an Eagle Scout <br />award and Morgan Johnson who was received a Lifesaver Award from the Washington County <br />Sheriff’s Department <br />Councilmember Nelson: No report. <br />Councilmember Lundgren: Attended Local Board of Appeal meeting. <br />Councilmember Bloyer: No report. <br />Councilmember Fliflet: No report. <br /> <br />STAFF REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />Administrator Handt: Reported that the City has closed on the purchase of the Brookfield <br />building and is working on the transition.
