CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />JANUARY 8, 2019 <br />CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Mayor Pearson called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br />PRESENT: Mayor Mike Pearson and Councilmembers Justin Bloyer, Dale Dorschner, Lisa <br />McGinn and Christine Nelson <br />Staff present: Administrator Handt, Finance Director Iverson, Planning Director Roberts, City <br />Planner Roberts and City Clerk Johnson <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Item 3, "Approve Security Reduction for Village Preserve 1st and 2nd Addition" was removed <br />from the Agenda. <br />Councilmember Bloyer, seconded by Mayor Pearson, moved TO APPROVE THE AGENDA <br />ASAMENDED. Motion passed 5 — 0. <br />ACCEPT MINUTES <br />Minutes of the January 2, 2019 Regular Meeting were accepted as presented. Minutes of the <br />December 4, 2018 minutes were tabled to the next meeting. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />2. Approve Appointment to Public Safety Committee <br />Mayor Pearson, seconded by Councilmember McGinn, moved TO APPROVE THE <br />CONSENT AGENDA AS PRESENTED. Motion passed 5 - 0. <br />ITEM 4: Central Greenway Trail Corridor <br />Conner Schaefer, Washington County Planner, presented the plan for the Lake Elmo segment of <br />the Central Greenway Corridor Trail. Jonathan Fillmore of SRF Consulting Group reviewed the <br />next steps and the process for applying for Metropolitan Council approval. <br />Mayor Pearson, seconded by Councilmember Nelson, moved TO APPROVE THE LETTER <br />OF SUPPORTAS PRESENTED. Motion passed 5-0. <br />
