LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />DUNE 18, 2019 <br />Councilmember Dorschner, seconded by Mayor Pearson, moved TO USE THE CITY'S <br />INSURANCE FOR THE 4' OF JULY PARADE. Motion passed 5-0. <br />COUNCIL REPORTS <br />Mayor Pearson: Commented on the recent passing of former Parks Commissioner David Steele. <br />Councilmember Nelson: Thanked volunteers for the successful Nature Day event at Sunfish <br />Lake Park. <br />STAFF REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />Administrator Handt: New Deputy Clerk starting next week; LMC conference in Duluth next <br />week. <br />City Attorney Sonsalla: Attending the LMC Conference next week. <br />City Engineer Griffin: Announced Keats Avenue closing next week for storm sewer work. <br />CLOSED SESSION <br />Mayor Pearson, seconded by Councilmember Dorschner, moved TO ADJOURN TO CLOSED <br />SESSION PUR USANT TO MNSTAT, SECTION 13D.05, SUED 3(B) TO DISCUSS <br />MATTERS PROTECTED BY THE ATTORNEY -CLIENT PRIVIEGE PERTAINING TO <br />POTENTIAL LITIGATIONAGAINST HAMLET ON SUNFISH LAKE HOA. Motion <br />passed 5 — 0. <br />Closed session held. <br />Mayor Pearson, seconded by Councilmember Dorschner, moved TO RETURN TO OPEN <br />SESSION.
