Motion passed 5 - 0. <br />ITEM 15: Approve Special Event Permit and Temporary Liquor License for Lake Elmo <br />Jaycees Huff n' Puff Days <br />Brief discussion was held concerning the source of funding for security during the event. <br />Mayor Pearson, seconded by Councilmember Dorschner, moved TO APPROVE A SPECIAL <br />EVENT PERMITAND TEMPORARY ON -SALE LIQUOR LICENSE ISSUED TO THE <br />LAKE ELMO JAYCEES FOR THEIR HUFF N' PUFFDAIS EVENT HELD AUGUST 8 <br />THROUGH II, 2019, SUBJECT TO APPROVAL OF THE DIRECTOR OF MN ALCOHOL <br />AND GAMBLING ENFORCEMENT DIVISION, AND WAIVE THE LIQUOR LICENSE <br />FEE, SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT FEE AND THE FEE FOR LION'S PARK BALL FIELD <br />LIGHTING. Motion passed 5 — 0. <br />ITEM 21: Parking on 32"d Street North (East of Lake Elmo Avenue) <br />City Administrator Handt provided a brief review of discussion held at the June 11, 2019 City <br />Council Workshop. <br />Michelle Sanchez, 11267 32"d St., commented on problems with no parking on the street and <br />stated a fair compromise would be allowing parking on one side of the street. <br />Octavio Sanchez, 11267 32"d St., commented on snow plowing on 32"d St. <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
