AGENDA ITEM: Approve renewal of St. Croix Valley Fire Service Agreement

SUMMARY AND ACTION REQUESTED:
As part of the Consent Agenda, staff respectfully requests approving the renewal of St. Croix
Valley Fire Service Agreement inclusive of City of Lake Elmo, Minnesota and City of Hudson,
Wisconsin.
STAFF REPORT:
Staff requests renewal of our two-year contract with the City of Hudson, Wisconsin, to provide
Mutual Aid to Lake Elmo, and for Lake Elmo to provide Mutual Aid to Hudson, upon request.
Renewal of this contract has been approved by the Hudson City Council. Upon approval by the
Lake Elmo City Council, the contracts will be forwarded to Governor Mark Dayton for his
required signature.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that council approve renewal of this contract.
