NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT
OLSON LAKE TRAIL SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Lake Elmo will meet in the council
chambers of the city hall at or approximately after 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 19,
2013, to consider the making of the following improvements, pursuant to Minnesota
Statutes, Sections 429.011 to 429.111;
The improvement will consist of the extension of sanitary sewer along Olson
Lake Trail North from an existing Oakdale Lift station located across the street
from 4575 Olson Lake Trail and extending approximately 550 feet north to the
north property line of 4678 Olson Lake Trail. The improvement will provide
municipal sanitary sewer service to 4 Lake Elmo properties and 2 Oakdale properties located adjacent to the proposed improvement.
The area proposed to be assessed for these improvements include properties abutting the
sanitary sewer extension. The estimated total cost of the sanitary sewer extension is
$128,000 with the City cost share being $84,540. A reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessment will be available at the hearing. Such persons as desire to be heard with
reference to the proposed improvements will be heard at this meeting.
