WASHINGTON COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 2013-33 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF OAKDALE AND THE CITY OF LAKE ELMO FOR THE OLSON LAKE TRAIL SANITARY SEWER PROJECT
WHEREAS, Oakdale and Lake Elmo desire to construct the Olson Lake Trail Sanitary Sewer Project in accordance with the recommendations outlined in the Amended Feasibility Report dated March, 2013; and WHEREAS, the Project will benefit properties in both cities, with five properties located in the City of Lake Elmo; and WHEREAS, upon completion of the Project, Oakdale will own, operate, and maintain the 8-inch sanitary sewer line.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, 1. That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a Joint Powers Agreement between the City of Oakdale and City of Lake Elmo to facilitate
the design and construction of the Olson Lake Trail Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project. ADOPTED BY THE LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL ON THE SEVENTH DAY OF MAY, 2013.
