WASHINGTON COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 2013-61 A RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS; AND APPROVING ENGINEERING SERVICES CONTRACT FOR THE PUMPHOUSE NO. 4 AND CONNECTING WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to the current 2013-2014 Capital Improvement Plan the City is
constructing municipal water supply Well No. 4; and WHEREAS, in order for proper operation and use of the well the City needs to design and
construct a pumphouse with trunk connecting watermain; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, 1. The City Engineer is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The engineer shall oversee the preparation of the Plans and Specifications for the making of such improvement. 2. The City Engineer shall retain the services of a consulting engineering firm, to assist, where needed, to prepare Plans and Specifications for the making of such improvement and to assist the City Engineer during the construction phase of the improvement as requested.
3. The Engineering Design and Construction Support Services contract is hereby approved as recommended by the City Engineer.
4. The City Council declares its official intent to reimburse itself for the costs of the improvement from the proceeds of tax exempt bonds.
ADOPTED BY THE LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL ON THE SIXTH DAY OF AUGUST, 2013.
