NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT 39TH STREET NORTH: STREET AND SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Lake Elmo will meet in the council chambers of the city hall at or approximately after 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 6, 2014,
to consider the making of the following improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 429.011 to 429.111; The improvements will consist of the reconstruction of the existing street, storm sewer replacement, extension of municipal sewer service, and construction of a
bituminous trail and concrete sidewalk along 39th Street North, from Highway 5 to Lake Elmo Avenue (CSAH17). The area proposed to be assessed for these improvements include the properties along
39th Street, directly abutting the location of the proposed street and sanitary sewer
improvements. The estimated total cost of the street, storm sewer, sidewalk and trail improvements is $822,400 and the estimated total cost of the sanitary sewer improvements is $425,000. A reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessment will be available at the hearing. Such persons as desiring to be heard with reference to the
proposed improvements will be heard at this meeting.
