Dear Kristi:
There was a recent lot line adjustment necessary to move 0.62 acres from Parcel ID
34.029.21.31.0006 to Parcel ID 34.029.21.32.0001. The owners of the parcels have come to an
agreement as to the portion of the special assessments that relate to the 0.62 acres and that any
remaining assessments would remain with Parcel ID 34.029.21.31.0006. $1,166.54 has been
collected and represents the pro-rated portion for the 0.62 acres.
The City Attorney worked with Counsel for the impacted landowners to review the specifics and
all agreed that this was a reasonable allocation and the payment was made to the City with the
understanding the land transaction was going to close by the end of 2014. However, the land
transaction did not take place at the end of 2014 and is just closing now.
The allocation between the two (2) parcels that was agreed upon is as follows:

At the City Council meeting on June 2, 2015, the Lake Elmo City Council approved this
reallocation of special assessments as presented.
The 2015 property taxes for both parcels have paid in full. Please accept this letter as the
authorization by the City of Lake Elmo to proceed with the lot line adjustment. When I send my
2015/2016 correction file, I will include the reduction for the balance due for Parcel ID
34.029.21.31.0006 in future years.
