SUMMARY AND ACTION REQUESTED: As part of its Consent Agenda, the City Council is respectfully requested to approve the proposed 2016 City Meeting Calendar or amend as necessary. If
removed from the Consent Agenda, the recommended motion is as follows:
“Move to approve the proposed 2016 Meeting Calendar.”
LEGISLATIVE HISTORY: Adopting a meeting calendar serves as the official notice for the year of
all upcoming meetings; thereby, satisfying legal requirements and increasing transparency to the
general public. Due to elections, holidays and political caucuses, City Council workshops and Parks
Commission meetings have been moved in January, February, March, August and November. If
approved, the meeting calendar will be posted at City Hall and on the City’s website.
RECOMMENDATION: If removed from the consent agenda, the recommended motion is as
follows:
“Move to approve the proposed 2016 Meeting Calendar.”

City Council Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. & Workshops are held at 6:30 p.m.
Planning Commission Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m.
Parks Commission Meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. All meetings are held in the Council Chambers unless otherwise noted
