SUMMARY AND ACTION REQUESTED: The terms of Library Board Members Steve
DeLapp and Sarah Linder expired December 31, 2015. Both have indicated that they would like to be reappointed to the Board, and Alternate Margot Seileni would like to be appointed as a full Board Member. Additionally, Tom DeGree has applied to fill a vacancy that currently exists on
the Board.
LEGISLATIVE HISTORY: The Library Board took action at its January 13th meeting to eliminate the alternate positions and increase the Board from 7 members to 9 members. If the Council chooses to reappoint Steve DeLapp and Sarah Linder and appoint Margot Seileni and
Tom DeGree, the Board will have 8 Members and one vacancy. The newly appointed and
reappointed Members would serve three year terms that would expire December 31, 2018.
