Mayor Facilitates POLICY RECOMMENDER: Councilmember Jill Lundgren FISCAL IMPACT: None SUMMARY AND ACTION REQUESTED: The City Council wants to hear from the public through email, phone calls and comments at the meeting. Due to the length of the City Council meetings and the repetitive nature of many comments given during the Public Comment section, the Council struggles at times to complete city business during the meeting. Public comments on agenda items may still be heard during discussion on each item, but general public comments should be moved to the end of the Regular Agenda in consideration of others in attendance who are there to conduct business on a specific agenda item. Councilmember Lundgren is requesting this item due to citizen requests she has been receiving. RECOMMENDATION: “Motion to move Public Comments to follow Regular Agenda items on the City Council Agenda.”
