ISSUE BEFORE COUNCIL:
City Council is asked to review and accept, as part of consent Agenda, a brief description of activities that
have taken place in the Public Works Department in the month of October 2016.
PROPOSAL DETAILS/ANALYSIS:
~ Removal and Replacement of City Hall Sidewalk
~ Clean storm water outfalls on Kindred Ave and Kindred Ct.
~ Flooded basement on Lake Elmo Ave. as a result of construction
~ Mtg. on proposed Nature Center at Sunfish Lake Park
~ Kick off Mtg. for I-94 Lift Station
~ Warranty walk thru on 39th St. construction project
~ Assist with new warning siren installation
~ PW Roof Repair Quotes
~ New steps installed at Tablyn Park
~ PW Staff Snow Plow Mtg.
~ 3 PW Staff members attended MnDOT Snow Plow Simulator Training
~ Repairs and training on Spray Patch Machine
~ Plan review mtg. for Royal Golf Club Development
~ Obtain specs and pricing for Savona Park equipment
~ Well #2 Roof Repairs completed
~ Clean storm water pipes on Lily Ave
~ Begin change out of old Sensus Water meters
~ Begin single axle truck maint. (5 trucks)
~ Hydrant repair 27th and Inwood (struck by car)
~ Tree Trimming on Manning Ave.
~ Staff attended MnDOT Fall Maint/Training Expo.
RECOMMENDATION:
Based on the activities listed above, City Council is respectfully asked to accept the October 2016 Public
Work Report.
