ISSUE BEFORE COUNCIL:
City Council is asked to review and accept, as part of Consent Agenda, a brief description of activities
that have taken place in the Public Works Department in the month of November 2017.
PROPOSAL DETAILS/ANALYSIS:
• 4 Public Works Staff to Smart Salt Certification Training
• Meeting with FOCUS and Bolton & Menk regarding 32nd St. sewer options
• Sentence to Serve at Ridge Park Playground
• Northport utility pre-con mtg.
• Update Water Supply Plan
• Public Works Operator Interviews
• Rob and Jamie to Winter Maint. Supervisor Class
• Rob to MN-APWA Fall Conf.
• Easton Village grading pre-con
• Final walk through @ Arbor Glen, Auto Owners, and Pankalo School
• Meetings with Rachel Contracting regarding Lions Park Project
• Submit Trail Benchmark Reimbursement for Sunfish Lake Ski Trails
• Savona Irrigation Walk through
• I-94 Lift Station Start-up
• Storm Pond Inspection
• Safety Training
• Meter replacements
• Install Hockey Boards at Lions Park
• Build road Pre-Treating Tank
• 1 – snow event
RECOMMENDATION:
Base on the activities listed above, City Council is respectfully asked to accept the November 2017 Public
Works Report.
