FISCAL IMPACT: $10 admin holding fee for animals that are reclaimed; impound fees $146
per day for dogs/cats, $44 other domestic animals.
SUMMARY AND ACTION REQUESTED: The City has contracted with Animal Humane Society in Woodbury for a few years for the impoundment of stray animals picked up by our animal control officer, Brittany Harmon. Staff recommends renewal of the contract with the
Animal Humane Society for 2018. RECOMMENDATION: If item is pulled from consent agenda, the recommendation should read. “Approve renewal of the contract with Animal Humane Society.” ATTACHMENTS: 2018 Letter of Understanding for Impound Housing Services
