ISSUE BEFORE COUNCIL:
City Council is asked to review and accept, as part of consent Agenda, a brief description of activities that
have taken place in the Public Works Department in the month of January 2017.
PROPOSAL DETAILS/ANALYSIS:
• Meeting with City of Oakdale to discuss termination of water supply
• Meeting with Metro Transit to discuss proposed I-94 Park and Ride
• Inwood Ave Booster Station start-up
• City Hall Restroom painting
• Staff Parking Ordinance Discussion
• Safety Training
• Tree removal on Hill Trail 201 Drain field
• Meeting with TPC to discuss future SCADA computer options
• 12 winter weather events requiring plowing or salting
• Misc. vehicle repairs related to winter weather events
RECOMMENDATION:
Base on the activities listed above, City Council is respectfully asked to accept the January 2017 Public
Works Report.
