BACKGROUND:
Last meeting Council appointed three members to the Public Safety Committee. After packets were
distributed, the City received an application from Al Bever that was forwarded to Council.
ISSUE BEFORE COUNCIL:
Who should the Council appoint to the Public Safety Committee?
PROPOSAL:
Council members were emailed a copy of the application materials from Al Bever.
There would still be one remaining vacancy on the committee after this appointment.
FISCAL IMPACT:
NA
OPTIONS:
1) Appoint Al Bever to the Public Safety Committee
2) Appoint other members to the Public Safety Committee
3) Do not make any appointments to the Public Safety Committee
RECOMMENDATION:
“Motion to appoint Al Bever to the Public Safety Committee”
