AGENDA ITEM: Human Resources Committee Appointment

BACKGROUND:
At the February 21st meeting, Council vote was split 2-2 with one member absent, on appointing
Mike Reeves to the Human Resources Committee. Since there will be a full Council at the March 7th
meeting, the item will be brought back before the Council.
ISSUE BEFORE COUNCIL:
Who should the Council appoint to the Human Resources Committee?
PROPOSAL:
Council members were emailed a copy of Mike Reeves’ application previously.
There are currently three vacant positions on the Human Resources Committee.
FISCAL IMPACT:
NA
OPTIONS:
1) Appoint Mike Reeves to the Human Resources Committee
2) Appoint other members to the Human Resources Committee
3) Do not make any appointments to the Human Resources Committee
RECOMMENDATION:
“Motion to appoint Mike Reeves to the Human Resources Committee”
