The above excerpt from the Comprehensive Trail Guide Plan identifies a proposed off street trail from 45th Street through the Tapestry development to Sunfish Lake Park. This trail is
also proposed to connect east to the Hamlet on Sunfish Lake development. The Hamlet on Sunfish Lake development has an existing off road trail that ends at a proposed off road trail
leading to Sunfish Lake Park.
Staff is looking for clarification on what trail segment is being sought to be added. The proposed trail segment from Kindred Court in the Hamlet development to Sunfish Lake Park appears
to be directed through an Outlot regulated by a conservation easement. Although a preliminary review of the easement appears to allow a trail, staff would need to confirm this with
the Minnesota Land Trust.
