ITEM: Update on implementation of planned Sunfish Lake Park

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
A number of significant improvements are planned for Sunfish Lake Park including some that
began last summer and fall. Improvements include a prairie restoration in area 2, parking area
grading, parking area definition through boulder placement, signage, and the installation of rain
garden / stormwater runoff treatment areas. The development of a natural resource management
plan for the entire park is also underway and nearing completion.
Carol Kriegler will provide an update on the status of each of the planned improvements as well
as an action plan / schedule for completing the improvements and tasks this spring.
