ITEM: Update on planning of Village / Stillwater High School base trail

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The Park Commission’s recent annual work plans have identified trail development as a very high
priority. To date, the Commission has prioritized base trails as defined by the City’s Trail Guide
Plan and identified the Village / Stillwater High School base trail as their highest priority.
An update will be provided on planning for the development of this particular base trail. A brief
report will also be made in regard to policy development related to the City’s acquisition of private
trails, as well as an update on discussions with Tana Ridge HOA on the subject.
