ITEM: Update on planning of Village / Stillwater High School base trail

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The Park Commission’s recent annual work plans have identified trail development as a very high
priority. To date, the Commission has prioritized base trails as defined by the City’s Trail Guide
Plan and identified the Village / Stillwater High School base trail as their highest priority.
Carol Kriegler will report on her request of Focus Engineering, to provide a proposal for the
development of a feasibility report for this particular trail.
The Park Commission might want to develop a rough timeline for the completion of the such a
feasibility report and the subsequent investigation of possible funding sources for the project.
