It is the intent of this conservation easement to permanently protect the natural, ecological, and scenic qualities and open space character of the property. Management of the property in accordance with a professionally designed management plan is allowed under the intent of the conservation easement. The Concept Plan identifies six primary plant communities, plus a pond, to be restored on the property, including prairie, oak grove, aspen thicket, pine stands, sedge meadow, and lowland forest. The areas where you plan to establish these plant communities and pond are set out on the attached map. We understand that the management goals and timing are funding dependent. After reviewing the Concept Plan, the Land Trust finds it to be consistent with the intent of the conservation easement. As soon as you are able to further develop and finalize the Plan, please provide that to us. We look forward to further review and approval of the final plan. We are pleased with your commitment to applying high quality stewardship practices to your land.
