^'tES*LUTI*N CONGRATULATING THE LAKE 1F
NAMED IN OPE N TABLE'S 100 BEST BRUNCH RESTAURANTS IN
AMERICA
WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo hm restaurant is operated in the heart of downtown,
Lake Elmo and
WHEREAS, a restaurant has operated at the location of the Lake Elmo Inn since
1881 and
WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo Inn currently employs approximately 140 people, and:
WHEREAS, Lake Elmo Inn owners Chris and John Schiltz received the
Cornerstone 2013 Humanitarian award for their con-u-ni anent to helping others; and
WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo Inn restaurant has received numerous awards over the
years, including the 2014 Restaurant of the Year award from the Minnesota Restaurant
Association, and
WHEREAS, Lake Elmo Inn Owner/Chef John Schiltz has received numerous
awards including,Restaurant ur of the year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Lake Elmo, Minnesota, does hereby congratulate the Labe Elmo Inn restaurant on being
named in {open Table's 100 Best Branch Restaurants in America and thanks the owners
and staff for their contributions to the community.
