I <br />M-119M AM" <br />W1 as 9 W01 skil I =10101 <br />ARE, SOLUT(ON DESIGNATING THE OAKDALE-LAKE ELMO REVIEW AS THE CTIT'S <br />OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes Section 412.831 states that a city council shall annually <br />at its first meeting of the year, designate a local newspaper of general circulation in the city as its <br />official newspaper for the publication of ordinances and other matters that are required by law and <br />deemed advisable by the council to be published; <br />WHEREAS, on January 2, 2018, the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo designated <br />the Oakdale -Lake Elmo Review as the City's official newspaper; and <br />WHEREAS, the Oakdale -Lake Elmo Review is a newspaper of general circulation in the <br />City and the City wishes to designate it as its official newspaper; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council does hereby approve <br />the following: <br />That the City's official newspaper is the Oakdale -Lake Elmo Review. <br />This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo on this 2 nd day of <br />January, 2018. <br />e­�Mike`pe`arson, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Jtui4heoh son, @ity '�Ierk <br />
