WHEREAS, the Cite of Lake Elmo is a municipal corporation organized and existing'
under the laws of the Mate of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, The Stillwater Area Scholastic Cycling Advocates has presented the proposal
to add the amenity of public mountain bike nails throughout Reid Park.
WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo Parks Commission held a public: meeting on said matter on
March 19, 201 and
WHEREAS, time Lake Elmo Parks Commission has submitted its report and
recornmendation to the City Council as part of a Staff Memorandum dated April 3d, 201 ; and
WHEREAS, , the City Council considered said matter at its< April ``', 2018 meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, RE, IT RESOLVED based on the testimony elicited and
information received, the City Council approves the following.:
That SA GA. shall have permission to build mountain bike trials throughout Reid Park as
they have been presented in their proposal;
FURTHERMORE
The City of Lake Elmo also approves and: shall:enter into the Memorandum of
Understanding and adhered to as it has been presented.
Passed and duly adapted this 3 d day of Aprils 2018 by the City Council of the City of Lake
Elmo, Minnesota.
