A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZE THE USE OF FACSIMILE SIGNATURES
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 47,41, permits the use of facsimile signatures
by any public officer who is authorized to sign checks, drafts, warrants, warrant -checks, vouchers,
and check -orders on public funds; and
WHEREAS, the statute allows the (pity to authorize the hank to honor instruments bearing
a facsimile of authorized persons' signatures
NOW THEREFORE E IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo,
directs that the financial institution (depositories/banks), with, which: the City clues business, are
authorized and requested to accept, honor, cash, pay or transfer, without limit as to the amount or
without further inquiry, cheeks bearing the authorized signatures using facsimile whether
tendered in payment or deposited in the account of the City,
