AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo approved the Silly vt n ara Interpretive
Nature Center Development, Luse, License and Operating Agreement on April 18, 2117
and
WHEREAS, the Agreement was subsequently signed by Anthony lvlan ara; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement provides for the City Council to appoint a voting
member to the Board of Directors of the Center; and
WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed this provision at its November ber 12, 201
work session and directed staff to have it removed from the agreement; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Lake Eh -no hereby: deletes:
Article 11 Nature Center Operations, 1. Friends' Responsibilities, d. The Friends
shall include one member that is appointed by the City Council as a voting member on its
Board of Directors. The City Council is responsible for selecting the person who is to _ serveonon the Friends' Board ofDirectors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council directs the City
Administrator to provide a copy of this amendment to the Friends of Labe Elmo's
Sunfish Lake Park and authorizes the City Clerk and Mayor or to execute an amendment----
docurrment.
