Meeting Minutes
July 25, 2007 at 7:00 p.m.

Next meeting: September 19, 2007 at 7:00 p.m.
I. Update on Cimarron Gas Line Project. Tom informed us that the grant process is
finished. 24 more homes were completed. 69 total homes were done with the grant.
Everyone at the park received a letter. There are a total of approximately 500 homes at
the Cimarron and approximately 170 left to fix. Kelli will check to see if the city can
qualify for another grant.
II Community Roadside Landscaping Partnership Program. The CIC made a
decision to proceed with the Spring 2008 planting. Pastor Ponath from St. John’s
church, Brenda, Joan, Kelli and Todd Carroll from the state will meet in late August or early September to discuss the potential project,
III. Farmer’s Market It was suggested that a 10-12 person committee be established to discuss the Farmer’s Market. Gary will receive more information. There are still many
questions including; # of vendors, application process, class at the U of M, liability
insurance, a site, etc. There may be some grant money available for this project too which needs to be checked.
IV. Maintenance of plantings at park entrances. Bob talked about using about
$50/park to update our park entrances. He thought that fixing up one park/month
would be a good start. It was suggested that before and after pictures be taken to see
the progress.
