Stempski, P.E. <br /> <br /> REVIEWED BY: Susan Hoyt, City Administrator <br /> Tom Bouthilet, Finance Director <br />___________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />SUMMARY AND ACTION REQUESTED: The City Council is being asked to approve partial <br />payment to Lakes Mechanical Services, Inc., the contractor for the Tablyn Park/Lake <br />Elmo Heights Plumbing Connections project. Lakes Mechanical Services, Inc. has submitted <br />Partial Payment Certificate No. 5 for Contracts A and B in the amount of $28,253.47 <br />and $134,670.92, respectively. This request has been reviewed by staff and payment is <br />recommended in the amount requested. <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br /> <br />On Contract A, due to the work being substantially completed, the retainage has been <br />reduced from 5% to 1%. An amount of $5,013.76 has been withheld in accordance with <br />the Contract. <br /> <br />On Contract B, due to the work being substantially completed, the retainage has been <br />reduced from 5% to 2%. An amount of $10,589.25 has been withheld in accordance <br />with the Contract. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Recommend to approve. <br /> <br />Suggested motion for consideration: <br />
