SUMMARY AND ACTION REQUESTED: The City Council is being asked to approve
Change Order No. 6 for the Tablyn Park/Lake Elmo Heights Watermain Extension project.
This Change Order extends the Final Completion date to May 25, 2006 and covers
several unforeseen work items that needed to be completed by the contractor as part of
the project. Please refer to Attachment No. 1 for an itemized list of the change order.
These Change Order items have been reviewed by staff and payment is recommended in
the amount requested.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend approval.
Suggested motion for consideration:
Motion: Move to approve Change Order No. 6 thereby increasing the contract amount
by $46,504.69 to a total contract amount of $3,273,319.14; and extending the
contract Final Completion date to May 25, 2007.
