HomeMy WebLinkAbout9 1828thstreet City Council Date: 9/18/07 REGULAR Item: 8 Information ITEM: Report on the 28th Street meeting on street condition and drainage issues SUBMITTED BY: Jack Griffin, City Engineer REVIEWED BY: Susan Hoyt, City Administrator John Hanson, Valley Branch Watershed SUMMARY AND ACTION REQUESTED: The city council is being asked to receive information on the 28th Street meeting dealing with drainage and street condition issues that was held on September 13, 2007 for 28th Street and nearby residents. This will be a brief update by the city engineer so that the city council is familiar with the information shared with these property owners and residents. The staff will be recommending that 28th infrastructure improvements including storm sewer and a paved roadway be incorporated into the city’s capital improvement plan that will be developed over the coming months. The estimated costs for these improvements are $140,000.
