Past practice has been to automatically move the First Alternate, which would be Commissioner VanZandt, to a full-voting member for a 3-year term starting March, 2008. Commissioner McGinnis would then be moved from Second Alternate to First Alternate. • Commissioner Deziel has requested a temporary leave of absence for the next six meetings of the Planning Commission, January 28th through and including April 14th, 2008 because of being shorthanded due to illness of an associate during the tax season. • . Parks Commission • Current commissioner Todd Bruchu (term expired 12/31/07) has applied for a full three year term after serving one three year term. (2 term maximum according to code). • Commissioner Bouthilet’s term expired 12/31/07. He did not reapply for a second term. • Commissioner Wagner’s second term expired on 12/31/07. This leaves vacancies for First and Second Alternates. RECOMMENDATION: Consider appointments to the Planning and Parks Commission
