City Council Date 6 CONSENT Item: Motion ITEM: Consider On-Sale Non-Intoxicating Liquor License for Huff’n Puff Days Proclaim August 9-12th 2007as Huff’n Puff Days SUBMITTED BY: Sharon Lumby Susan Hoyt _____________________________________________________________________________ SUMMARY AND ACTION REQUESTED: The city council is being asked to proclaim August 9-12 2007, the 31st anniversary of Huff’N Puff Days, the official City celebration for 2007 and to urge all citizens of our community to give full regard to the past and continuing services of the Lake Elmo Jaycees. The city council is also being asked for approval of its On-Sale Non-Intoxicating Malt Liquor License for its annual Huff’N Puff festival and to waive the fee for the liquor license. Approval of the liquor license has been received from the Washington County Sheriff.

Staff is recommending approval of the On-Sale Non-Intoxicating Malt Liquor License and waiving of the liquor license fee for August 9-12th Huff’N Puff Days.
