ISSUE BEFORE COUNCIL:
City Council is asked to review and accept, as part of Consent Agenda, a brief description of activities
that have taken place in the Public Works Department in the month of March 2018.
PROPOSAL DETAILS/ANALYSIS:
• Asses streets w/ FOCUS for 2018 Pavement Preservation
• Wellhead Protection Plan Mtg.
• Water meter reading improvement/adjustment trial reads
• Wash. Co/Lake Elmo Traffic Mtg.
• Attend 3M Water Mtg.
• Well #1 Shutdown and Hydrant Flushing
• Confined space equipment training
• Traffic Control Training (Colemer, Sachs, Leko, Effinger, Gustafson)
• Shade Tree Conf. (Colemer, Effinger, Sachs)
• Safety Training
• MPCA Training (Coleman, Nicklay)
• Pipline Safety/Locate Training
• Meter reading
• 4 Winter Weather Events
• Pothole Patching
o 21 Tons of Hot mix
o 15 Tons of Cold mix
RECOMMENDATION:
Base on the activities listed above, City Council is respectfully asked to accept the March 2018 Public
Works Report.
