AGENDA ITEM: Accept Resignation Letter From Parttime Firefighter Cameron Huntinton

BACKGROUND:
On 10/24/19, Parttime Firefighter Cameron Huntington submitted his 2 week notice to Chief Malmquist.
His last day of employment will be November 7, 2019.
ISSUE BEFORE COUNCIL:
Should the Council accept the Letter of Resignation from Parttime Firefighter Cameron Huntington?
PROPOSAL DETAILS/ANALYSIS:
Staff is recommending the Council accept the letter.
FISCAL IMPACT:
We have lost the costs associated with his training, uniforms and Turnout Gear/Personal Protective
Equipment.
Upcoming expense of bringing a new hire on board. Training, uniforms and Turnout Gear/Personal
Protective Equipment. We reuse as much as possible.
OPTIONS:
1) Accept letter.
2) Do not accept resignation
RECOMMENDATION:
If removed from consent agenda:
Motion to accept the letter of resignation from Parttime Fighter Cameron Huntington.
