AGENDA ITEM: Employee Service Recognitions
BACKGROUND:
In 2016, Council approved an employee recognition policy. As part of that policy, employees will be
recognized for each 5 years of service and presented with a gift card of up to a $50 value.
ISSUE BEFORE COUNCIL:
Should the Council recognize the service anniversary of the identified employee?
PROPOSAL DETAILS/ANALYSIS:
Staff recommends that the Mayor formally recognize the following employee for their service
anniversary. This employee will also be presented with a certificate of service recognition and gift card.
Public Works:
Jamie Colemer – 10 years
FISCAL IMPACT:
$50 for employee gift card
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the Mayor read the name and years of service of the employee to be recognized
during the presentation portion of the agenda.
