BACKGROUND:
Permit Technician Joan Ziertman submitted her resignation on March 25, 2019. Her last day with the
City of Lake Elmo will be April 5, 2019
ISSUE BEFORE COUNCIL:
Should the Council accept the resignation of Permit Technician Joan Ziertman?
PROPOSAL:
Staff recommends accepting the resignation of Permit Technician Joan Ziertman. Furthermore, staff
recommends waiting to advertise for this position until candidates for the building official position can be
interviewed.
RECOMMENDATION:
If removed from the consent agenda:
“Move to accept the resignation of Joan Ziertman.”
