AGENDA ITEM: Approve Liquor License for Par Caterers, LLC

BACKGROUND:
The clubhouse at Royal Golf has been operating under a liquor license issued to Envision Catering for a
few years. Clubhouse management is seeking to transfer the liquor license in-house under the name Par
Caterers, LLC. Par Caterers is owned by the Royal Golf Club ownership group.
ISSUE BEFORE COUNCIL:
Should the City Council approve the change to the liquor license for Royal Golf Club?
PROPOSAL DETAILS/ANALYSIS:
The proposed license change would not include any changes to current operations or sales of liquor at the
Royal Golf clubhouse. Once approved by the City, the application is subject to review and approval by the
State of Minnesota Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement office. City approval would be contingent upon a
background investigation conducted by the Washington County Sheriff’s office.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No budget impact; Applicant has paid all applicable liquor license fees and the application/background
investigation fee.

2) Do not approve Liquor License for Par Caterers LLC
