BACKGROUND: Barr Engineering has an annual lease for space in the Brookfield building.
ISSUE BEFORE COUNCIL: Should the City Council approve the lease extension with Barr Engineering? PROPOSAL: Included in your packet is a lease extension agreement. All terms would remain the same with the extension of a one year time period. FISCAL IMPACT: NA
OPTIONS: 1) Approve the lease extension agreement 2) Amend and then approve the lease extension agreement 3) Do not approve lease extension agreement

LEASE EXTENSION AGREEMENT
This Lease Extension Agreement, made this ________ day of ______, 2020, by and between the City of Lake Elmo (hereafter called “Landlord”) and Barr Engineering Company, a Minnesota Corporation (“hereafter called “Tenant”).
WITNESSES: 1. The Landlord and Tenant agree that the Tenant’s present Lease assumed by the Landlord on April 25, 2018 (dated October 13, 2000) and amended December 4, 2018, shall be
extended for an additional term of one (1) year through and including the 31st day of
