AGENDA ITEM: Approve Liquor License Transfer for Village Wine & Spirits

BACKGROUND:
Village Wine and Spirits is located at 11227 Stillwater Boulevard North and has been operating under a
liquor license issued to LFD, Inc. for a few years. The business has a pending sale to ATB, LLC/Allison
Bahr.
ISSUE BEFORE COUNCIL:
Should the City Council approve the change to the liquor license for Village Wine and Spirits?
PROPOSAL DETAILS/ANALYSIS:
The proposed license change would not include any changes to current operations for sales of liquor at
Village Wine and Spirts and the name of the store will remain the same. Once approved by the City, the
application is subject to review and approval by the State of Minnesota Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement
office. City approval would be contingent upon a background investigation conducted by the Washington
County Sheriff’s office.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No budget impact; Applicant has paid all applicable liquor license fees ($200.00) and the
application/background investigation fee ($350.00).

1) Approve Liquor License transfer for Village Wine and Spirits
2) Do not approve Liquor License transfer for Village Wine and Spirits
