SUMMARY AND ACTION REQUESTED: The City Council is asked to receive a formal note of “thank you” from the Fire Relief Association for its recent show of financial and public support. No Council action is recommended or required for this Agenda Item.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION & STAFF REPORT: Fire Chief Malmquist will be present at tonight’s meeting to briefly deliver a word of thanks for the City Council’s recent action to provide symbolic financial assistance and public support for the efforts of the Relief Association.
RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council receive the verbal work of thanks from Chief Malmquist. No other action is anticipated with respect to this agenda item.
