CITY COUNCIL MINUTES

CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Pearson called the meeting to order at 7.•00 pm.
PRESENT: Mayor Mike Pearson and Councilmembers Dale Dorschner, Lisa McGinn and
Christine Nelson. ABSENT: Councilmember Justin Bloyer.
Staff present: Administrator Handt, City Attorney Sonsalla, and City Clerk Johnson
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Councilmember Dorschner, seconded by Councilmember McGinn, moved TO APPROVE THE
AGENDA ASAMENDED. Motion passed 4 — 0.
ACCEPT MINUTES
Minutes of the March 4, 2020 Regular Meeting were accepted as presented.
PUBLIC COMMENTSANOUIRIES
None
PRESENTATIONS
The Lake Elmo Jacyees presented the City with a donation of $14,100 from charitable gambling
proceeds.

Administrator Handt: Provided updates related to the City's operational planning related to
the COVID-19 outbreak.
CLOSED SESSION
Mayor Pearson, seconded by Councilmember Dorschner, moved TO ENTER CLOSED
SESSION PURSUANT TO MINN STAT 13D.05, SUBD 3(C) (3) TO CONSIDER AN OFFER
TO PURCHASE CITY LAND LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF IDEAL AVE
AND CSAH 14, A PORTION OF PID 16.029.21.24.0003. Motion passed 4 — 0.
Closed session was held.
Mayor Pearson, seconded by Councilmember Nelson, moved TO RE-ENTER OPEN
SESSION. Motion passed 4 — 0.
