AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THEIMPLEMENTATIONOFCURFEWSWITHINTHECITYOFLAKEELMO.
The Lake Elmo City Council ordains thatSection1445.05 and its subdivisions areherebyaddedtotheLakeElmoMunicipalCodetoreadasfollows:
1445.05. C urf w The following curfews shallbeeffectivewithintheCityofLakeElmo: Subd. 1. Under 15 Years of A Except ashereinafterProvided, itshallbe unlawful foranyPersonsunder15yearsofagetobepresentinapublicplace; in any private establishmentwhichisopentothepublic; or, on privateproperty, other than their usual place ofresidence, between the hours of 10:00p.m. and5:00 a.m. the following day. Subd. 2. 15 YQarc to I ess Than o years: Except as hereinafter provided, it shall beunlawfulforanypersonwhoisatleast15yearsofagebutlessthan18yearsofagetobepresentinapublicplace; in any privateestablishmentwhichisopentothepublic; or, on
private property, other than their usual place ofresidence, between the hours of 12:00 midnightand5:00 a.m. the following day.
Subd. 3.Ex otion •ThecurfewshallnotapplytoanypersonwhoisaccompaniedbytheirP' legal guardian, or other adult person inQ )ftheircare and custody; orwho isonan
emergency, errand, or other lawful activity asdirectedbytheirparent, legal guardian or other
adult Person in charge of their care or custody; or who is employed in or on the way to or fromalegalplaceofemployment.

person to violate the curfew regulations of theCityofLakeElmo.

years of age to be on or in Such place ofbusinessinviolationofthecurfewprovisionsoftheCityofLakeElmo.
EffectiveDate.Thisordinanceshallbeeffectivethedayfollowingitspublication.
