ORDINANCE NO. 8106
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO
DISORDERLY CONDUCT.
The Lake Elmo City Council ordains that
Section 1445.04 and its subdivisions are
hereby added to the Lake Elmo Municipal
Code to read as follows:
1445.04. Disorderly Conduct. Whoever does
any of the following in a public or private place,
knowing or having reasonable grounds to know
that it will, or will tend to, alarm, anger or disturb
others or provoke an assault or breach of the
peace, is guilty of disorderly conduct, which is a
misdemeanor:
A. engages in brawling or fighting;
B. disturbs an assembly or meeting, not
unlawful in its character;
C. engages in offensive, obscene, abusive,
boisterous, or noisy conduct or in
offensive, obscene or abusive lan-
guage tending to reasonably arouse
alarm, anger, or resentment in others; or
D. obstructs the free passage of others in
a public street, highway, sidewalk or
public place.
Effective Date. This ordinance shall be effective
the day following its publication.
Adoption Date. Passed by the City Council of
the City of Lake Elmo the 18th day of October,
1994.
